Works on LTE 4 – Freedom Mobile! – A fantastic dual SIM phone that works on Freedom Mobile (Canada – old Wind Mobile) network which is a 4LTE network (GSM) in Canada.

Awesome – I was skeptical about this phone at first but now that I have been using it, it’s great and I am very satisfied. I got the phone and went to put in my sim from lg fortune but it did not fit. I had to go to the cricket store to get a universal SIM kit so I could fit my nano SIM into the j7 neo’s micro SIM slot. Word of advice, don’t let the store reps test one of their test Sims in it, I only got phone service, no internet. I bought the kit anyway. It kinda freaked me out though till i left and popped mine in. Works fantastic. Amazing phone for the price, you can’t beat it.

Best phone at that price on amazon rn – I have read some of the reviews and I wasn’t really expecting a phone as good as the one I received.

Works well, just not with AT&T – I bought this at the end of 2018 and used it with AT&T without any issues. Long battery life, great pictures, just a great phone overall. Then I did a software update and then the data stopped working. I couldn’t figure out what went wrong, I just couldn’t use mobile data so no more MMS texting or using the internet outside of a wifi connection. It could still make phone calls and simple SMS texting. I brought it to AT&T and they changed my data connection from LTE to HSPA which is an inferior connection. I could then use internet but no MMS messaging still and I couldn’t use google maps. Finally I had to switch to a new provider, Google Fi, and now it’s working again. It was really frustrating to try to work this all out. It took me over a month; it was so annoying not having a fully functional phone during the holidays. I have no intention of doing anymore software updates. This phone is not designed to be compatible with the US service provider market; it’s meant for the South American market so another software update may just cause other problems.

What Do You Really Need in a Flagship Phone? This Is Last Month’s Flagship! – The shining feature in this J7 Neo is the battery life, considering how large and powerful it is. It is amazing that I can go a few hours from a full charge using it like normal and still be in the mid 90% range! The features and Android OS on this phone are anything you could ask for in a phone under $200, what do you really need in a flagship phone like the S or the iPhone unless you got money to blow your nose in? Just about anything you could think of to judge the phone on are going to be positives, so I will only bother to list my few negatives:

Perfect for me! – My previous phone was over 5 years old. I just don’t care about having the latest and greatest technology. It did everything I needed it to – call, text, take photos, and occasionally search online. Well, I got a little tired of the low picture quality, and the fact that it was kind of slow loading pages online. I wanted a new phone that was similar to my Samsung tablet. Well, this phone is perfect. I’m sure I don’t know all it can do, but I’ve been using it for 2 weeks and I’m in love. It so similar to my tablet and everything transferred over just fine. It’s so fast and the picture quality is great. And you cannot beat the price.
