Samsung J7 Crown review – I have been a Tracfone customer for a long time. I got a message that the networks were being upgraded in my area and that I would have to buy a new phone. Since I was already familiar with Samsung, I decided to stay with the same brand. After looking at the offerings on the Tracfone website and dismissing them all, as none seemed suited to my needs, I began looking elsewhere. The Amazon assistant cropped up and showed me the same phone for less thru’ Amazon! I researched several models and after much deliberating, settled on the J7 Crown. It is much faster than my old one, has capacity for a bigger memory card, and has a larger, easier screen to see. It’s not the most expensive, but it’s not a cheapie either. I went mid-range price-wise and gave myself some room to improve my skills. This phone has more to offer than some, and more than enough options for my needs. I like that I can block individual phone numbers without having to download some dodgy app. And I am able to work my Google home mini from this phone, as I discovered my old phone could/would not! How is that even possible? But it would not accept or find the app on the play store. This phone found it easily! I am so pleased! And yes, it is locked to Tracfone, but since I’ve traveled the country and never had a problem, I stayed with them. There was even an app to move all my data from my old phone to the new one! So I lost nothing! Done in less than 6 minutes! I really like this phone. I recommended it to a friend and she bought two! One for her, and one for her husband.

      Bueno – Bueno

    3. S. E (verified owner)

reasonable upgrade – I shopped hard to find a phone about the same size as my 4+ year old galaxy phone. I thought the screen measurement was diagonal but it was vertical. So this phone is a little larger but still a little lighter in weight. The camera is much better than my old phone. The touch screen is a little odd; when I type texts I need to proofread twice because it inserts words I know I did not type.

Impressive! – Being without a mobile phone is just not practical anymore. We no longer have a phone booth on every corner and in every gas station, so when your car breaks down on the road, a cell phone is your only hope. Many land lines now use Internet protocol, so when your home Internet is down, your phone is, too. Again, your cell phone to the rescue!

Great ‘Starter’ Phone (with July 28th update) – TL;DR: I do highly recommend this phone so long as your smartphone needs are simple.
